It all started in August 2004, when Wilson Ferreira sought a regent of choral. He wanted to do the Christmas Carols with a Choral formed by employees and their families. He barely knew what it would be.

Well… A group was assembled; rehearsals began, one after another. There was no lack of integration and fun. The Operation and Maintenance Centers from Ariquemes, Porto Velho and Rolim de Moura became the stage for the performance of the Choral until the day arrives.

It arrived. It was December 17. The premiere took place during the Guascor celebration party, which included the presence of Joaquim Pereira, the president of the Group. The nervousness was overcome by the exciting performance. And that was the kickoff for a successful carrier. The Choral programming included a tour presentation in local TV and CD burning.

The branch of Acre was visited by the Choral in200, what is affectionately remembered by Nadia: “We traveled by bus, and on the road we rehearsed enough, aware of our responsibility. It was the first time we integrate our branches in a social activity. The presentation was in Rio Branco, we were very well received by our colleagues and their families. I think that the final feeling was the same for everybody – the gathering of a large family, “she recalls.

Seven years later, the choral continues to delight the employees and their families. Nádia Siqueira and Claudionor Costa are ahead of the team preparing the launch of the 2nd CD this year, on the eve of Candle of Nazareth (Círio de Nazaré), an event that happens in Belem do Pará.

The repertoire of the second record has already been chosen, and we can only anticipate that the selection of titles gives a special tribute to the array. Worth the wait!

Last names are not similar coincidence: the Choral integrates wives, fathers, mothers and children of employees!
